Last month we introduced a new suite of Marketing and Sales tools to go alongside our Project tools so that builders and remodelers can work smarter and deliver an amazing client experience.

Here are some enhancements to these new tools to give your business more exposure and help you manage your permissions in your account even easier!

Share Individual Collections Publicly With a Direct URL

Want to show a client a specific kitchen remodel or basement reno? Now, each of your Collections can be shared anywhere — your social media accounts, your website, in an email to clients, etc. You can share an entire Collection right from your Collections view or any image in an individual collection.

Manage Pro Team Account Access With New Admin Role

If you’re the BuildBook Account Owner and want more control over what certain Pro Team Members have access to, we have you covered. Now Pro Team Owners can manage Pro Team members more efficiently with the new Admin role.

How it works

In Manage Your Pro Team under Settings, click the dropdown next to each Pro Team Member name and choose whether they should be an Admin or a Member.

Who has access to what?

BuildBook Pro Team Admin: Full access to all account features including Projects, Portfolio, Collections, Leads, and Contacts. Admins cannot edit plan and billing info.

BuildBook Pro Team Member: Access to Projects, Collections, and Contacts. Members do not have access to Leads or Portfolio.

Potential Clients Can Now Find You Faster Online

If you provided an address or location for your business on your Portfolio then you may have noticed it recently started appearing in your Portfolio sidebar.

So, why’d we add this feature?

Providing your location, especially a physical address, improves your Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. It allows Google to help potential customers searching online for your services in your area to find you.

Aka, if someone searches for “Custom Home Builder in Greensboro, GA” on Google, your Portfolio has a much better chance of showing up in their search results if you include your physical location.

Get Noticed in BuildBook's Portfolio Directory

We just launched an online directory of inspiring Portfolios and we’re now on the look-out for more to include. If you’re interested in being added to the directory, let us know!

You can also check out our help articles to get up and running.

Other Enhancements

Lead and Contact Sorting:

  • Sort Leads based on Type of Project, Budget, Timeframe, or Date Created. This will give you a better idea of your various budgets and timelines.
  • Sort Contacts by Name (first), Email, Phone, or Type of Contact. This is a great way to easily find different types of contacts ranging from Clients to Subs to Vendors.

Ability to Rearrange Portfolio Testimonials:

Arrange your testimonials exactly how you’d like them to appear, or switch them around to change up your Portfolio every couple of months.

We have some more exciting features to announce in the coming weeks including a badge you can add to your website that links directly to your Portfolio. We’re also working on an integration with Instagram that auto-populates your Portfolio with the pics you share with your followers!
