Due to the recent Covid pandemic, it's understandable if there were any slight delays, however it didn't seem to have an effect on the project. If I had to say anything negative about the experience, there was some slight miscommunication between us, but I believe this was mainly on our fault. Construction Manager
Nick is our highly capable Construction Manager. He will be your contact throughout the build phase of your project. Very organized and with a "let's-get-it-done" attitude, Nick has many responsibilities under his charge, but his primary function is to ensure projects are running smoothly, constructed properly, and completed on time. Nick also coordinates our crews and interacts with construction officials. Having successfully run his own construction company, you can be sure Nick has all of your construction needs well in hand.John MacDonald

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, John moved to sunny Florida over 30 years ago and hasn't looked back. His professional background is diverse. having spent several years in the service/sales industry, extensive time as a GIS analyst, and was among the youngest in Florida to pass the series 7 Securities Broker License exam at 19 years of age. His passions are the Lord, family and close friends, and exercising. John has been part of the Hometown family since 2020 and is "thrilled to be part of this great organization, listening to the Lord, working where He wants me and I am called to be."Doug York

Doug is a devoted family man and Christ follower. He has been in the construction industry for well over 20 years. Starting out by designing and building multi million dollar homes on the Sarasota waterfront, over the years he has gained broad experience including commercial construction, hurricane shutter manufacturing and installation, exterior windows and doors, remodeling and additions. Doug loves the outdoors and his passions include hunting, diving, and fishing.Richard Reina

Richard Reina brings to his role with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Architecture, and over 25 years of architectural experience in mostly residential and interior design, in a wide variety of areas such as with single family homes, custom homes, additions, remodeling and sumptuous luxury homes in Florida, North Carolina and Abroad. Richard brings to the projects the assurance of a good project outcome for the construction team and the home owner.Karen Fixter
Business Office Manager
Meet our business office manager, Karen. She has lived in Bradenton more than half her life and has no plans of ever leaving the sunshine and beach! She begins every morning with coffee, and her outside run and prayer time, which allows her to begin each day with joy, confidence, and determination. Karen will handle all accounts receivable/payables, the permitting process, help to maintain the flow of jobs, set meetings, both on the phone and in person at our main office, and various other administrative duties. Between her love of creating relationship and innate organization and attention to detail, she is up to the task of any challenge!
