Designer / Construction Project Manager
Tom worked through high school as a carpenter with a keen interest in environmentally responsible construction and manufacturing. He graduated from CWU with a BS in business in 2007, youngest in his class. After managing a window manufacturing line for a short time, Tom moved abroad to study Ecology and sustainable production in a new setting. After graduate school, Tom and his wife founded a sustainable development research institute and taught 100s of young adults across southern China about sustainable design and construction while building numerous demonstration sites. In 2016, Tom moved back to Seattle, at the time a hot spot for environmentally responsible building technology. After working with Seattle area contractors and architects for several years, Tom and Lia moved to Ellensburg to start their current practice, designing and building cutting edge custom homes set in the beautiful hills and valleys of Central Washington.Design Support
